PALM SPRINGS AERIAL TRAMWAY
OBSERVES PRESIDENT’S DAY WEEKEND
PALM SPRINGS, CA – January 27, 2012 – President’s Day Weekend – February 18-20 – the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway will observe holiday hours. The first Tram car up will be at 8am, last car up at 8pm and the last car down at 9:45pm. Tram cars depart at least every 30 minutes.
Visitors can enjoy viewpoints, cocktail lounge, gift shop, Natural History Museum and two documentary style movies about the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway and the Mount San Jacinto State Park. Dine at one of the two restaurants – it is a one of a kind experience.
Round-trip Tram admission is $23.95 for adults and $16.95 for children ages 3-12 years. Discounted Twilight Tickets are available for purchase after 4pm $20.95 for adults and seniors and $13.95 for children ages 3-12. Ride ‘n’ Dine tickets are available after 4pm and include Tram admission and dinner at Pines Café, a cafeteria style restaurant. FIRST ANNUAL LAST SNOW FALL GUESSING

PALM SPRINGS, CA – January 30, 2012 – Is it Spring yet? Who knows, well maybe you do. The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway is holding the first annual Last Snow Fall Guessing Contest on Facebook. Just guess when the last measurable inch of snow will fall at the Mountain Station.
The contest starts February 1, 2012 and goes through May 31, 2012. Winners will be announced June 1, 2012. The first ten guesses received will win four Tram admissions. In the event there are more than ten guesses for the correct date, the earliest entrants will prevail.
There are two ways to enter: Go to the Special Events page or go to Facebook and visit our business page http://www.facebook.com/#!/PalmSpringsAerialTramway. You must “Like” the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway on Facebook to enter.
